If there’s one craft supply I am never in need of, it’s fabric scraps! I cannot bear to throw away any leftover pieces larger than my hand, so I stuff them into Ziploc bags and await the glorious day that I finally figure out what to do with my ever-growing stash.
I think that day is here, thanks to this fine tutorial by Indonesia crafter and blogger Lia. The project isn’t too difficult, just a bit detailed; but totally worth it for the adorable end result and extreme satisfaction of using up those forgotten scraps. This pouch reminds me of a sweet shingled roof, the kind I loved to draw as a kid.
If you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some Ziploc bags to rifle through.
